Our 3.5mm 4-pin to 4-pin AHJ to OMTP connector works with all iPads, iPhones and pre-2014 Android smartphones and tablets. It connects an Apple headphones to Android smartphones or tablets. It connects Android compatible headphones to iPhones and iPads. Generally this is an issue with Android phones manufactured before 2013. Note: while the audio will work, the control functionality cannot be guaranteed for Apple headsets connected to Android devices.
